After three years of negotiations, European policy-makers agreed at the end of December upon a recast of the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, better known as WEEE. According to PV Cycle, Europe’s soalr photovoltaic (PV) module take-back and recycling scheme, the industry is ready to face new challenges posed by the revised Directive.
