U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin announced the agency will reconsider multiple National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPs) affecting a broad range of American industrial sectors. In doing so, EPA is ensuring appropriate protections for human health and the environment based on the best record possible. The Trump Administration is considering a 2-year compliance exemption via Section 112(i)(4) of the Clean Air Act for affected facilities while EPA goes through the rulemaking process. (Source: EPA)
